Onward to Harlaxton!!!!

More Grrraaaaaaiiins....

After successfully invading London and turning them into carbmonsters by eating all their grains we have moved on to Harlaxton, a small village in central England. We started out the day by touring the grounds where we found an old tele booth as seen above (incase you ever wondered what a zombie making a phone call looks like).

While we were touring the grounds we encountered a grounds keeper who asked if we had been to Harlaxton before, I responded that two of us had stayed there in 03...my self and pointing to Courtney and said "and that one."

Courtney had managed to climb up into some kind of cuby hole in the Manor and was pretending to be a fully clothed statue. Why you ask?....Well the Jury is still out on that and will be getting back with us later this week.

While wondering around the grounds in awe of the grandeur we decided to take more photos of the group and got some good keepers.

That is just a taste, the rest will be posted when we get back stateside on my photobucket account when we have a more reliable internet connection.

After getting a bunch of pictures from around the manor we decided to walk down the mile long driveway to the pub at the end known as "The Greg" (The Gregory named after Gregory Gregory the original man who commissioned Harlaxton manor to be built). There we drank a good deal of Strongbow, ate some crisps and told stories of life experiences. About an hour before we left a nice fellow from the class of 78 came up and introduced himself and we shared our Harlaxton experiences with him, and he shared his. Afterward we walked back up the drive to the manor for the 4th of July party...that's right folks a celebration of kicking the crap out of the Brits in their own country....America's steak in the Royalty's heart is complete! I however, refrained from adding injury to insult and manged to keep my cool and not pick a fight with one of those bloody redcoats.

We then relaxed in the snooker room, ordered pizza from Pizza King and watched some tv. We have now retired at about 230 in the morning and are getting ready to try and recharge our batteries for when we take on Grantham. Pip Pip Cheery-O.
